LOST is an incentive from Leichhardt Council - artist studios in the area open to the general public offering a rare opportunity to enter the realm of the artists working spaces.

 

One+2 Artist Studios particpates on this event and will offer a exhibit of works by the artists, where each work will be representing the artist medium and own style.

This exhibition is called, FOUND and will be on between 10am and 4pm, over the weekend.

 

There’ll be 6 Associated Free Events and Activities during the weekend:

 

SATURDAY,  8th

12.15     CHINA ILLUMINATED - Artist Talk by Rone Waugh

              Rone will be covering various subjects on his experience on Contemporary Chinese Art & Artists, Red Gate Gallery & Residency Program,

              798 & SongZhuang Art Districts, ‘China Illuminated’ exhibition.

1.30       PORTRAITURE – a brief on portraiture painting by Mertim Gokalp (Archibald Finalist 2013)

3.00       FUN FOR KIDS 'How to paint or draw your Favourite Pet' - demonstration by Judith Johnson (suitable to ages 8-14)

              No fee, no booking, no age limit, but lots of FUN...parents welcome.

SUNDAY,  9th

11.00     FUSING GLASS techniques - demonstration by Dagmar Ackerman

              Ever wondered how a glass artwork evolves?
              Glass artist Dagmar Ackerman will demonstrate a variety of glass fusing techniques.

12.15     CHARCOAL PRESPECTIVE DRAWING - demonstration by Barbara Aroney

              Perspective is used by artists to give an illusion of space.

              Barbara Aroney will demonstrate a large charcoal drawing of woolshed yards using simple perspective.

1.30       Watercolour techniques - demonstration by Justin Parker

3.00       FUN FOR KIDS 'How to paint or draw your Favourite Pet' - demonstration by Judith Johnson (suitable to ages 8-14)
